RESPONSIBILITIES

• Understand the Serasana model of health and wellness, and work together with fellow team members to help our clients take full advantage of available offerings

• Meet with clients to obtain information about their concerns, symptoms, medical history, diet, lifestyle, and psychological health

• Make diagnoses, according to Chinese Medicine and determine session strategies

• Explain procedures to clients and prepare them for the session

• Identify precise locations on client’s body where needles should be inserted, or where electrical or heat stimulation is to be applied

• Competent with the following modalities: acupuncture, gua sha, cupping, moxibustion and electrical stimulation of the needles

• Following each session, consult with the client about other therapies and overall wellness

• Comply with quality, safety, and infection-prevention protocols, as well as laws and regulations

5. Previous entrepreneurial experience: whether you were a success or a failure, both are invaluable.

B. Read or are willing to learn to read at least some Chinese characters (our herbal cabinet only has traditional Chinese characters).
7. You are kind, compassionate, and diligent with a lifelong love and dedication to learning

Strong preference given to those practitioners with an existing strong knowledge in at least one of the following areas or those interested in becoming specialists in one or more of these areas:
* Acupuncture with a biomedical approach such as neuropuncture, orthopedic acupuncture, dry needling etc. (We are interested in someone drawn to this style of acupuncture because physicians and patients are seeking out physical therapists to perform these types of acupuncture.
