My link isn't loading for me here with Android. The car is listed on Craig's tri cities TN. Listed as 84. Price says $4k look's rather stock from the 1 decent photo of 3.

Well worth the money if it's real

Corrected the link.

Photos don't show much but worth a look if you are close.

And my guess is you're already on the hunt to find out the legitimacy. :jump: ;)

(Some great Miata roads to travel through to get there, if only the asphalt wasn't too cold for the rubber right now ...)

Thanks for sharing a working link. I assumed mrmustang would have already been well aware of this car?

I made an inquiry as to maintenance, but never heard back

The day it was listed a friend in Nashville sent me the link ;)

Even if you have to do all the baseline maintenance 4k with a hard top, lower miles seems like a great deal for any color :) Hopefully it's rust free too.

Holy cow that's cheap.

Holy cow that's cheap.

That's because Nashville is not in California! :D

And that's good, because I'm not a big fan of country music.

LB&T's with HT are rare. :D

Rod Knock

9th February 2016, 13:47

Only 341 made in 1994.

Only 122 made in 1995.

Who knows how many came with an original HT.

autox25

Sold a Laguna hardtop to a forum member out of eastern Mississippi a few years ago. dropped it off in western MS on my way down to pick up the BRG in NO. I wonder if its the same car/owner? Although doubt he lived in a trailer park.

But its an even Rarer "1984" Model ..........Its probably in Mr. Mustangs Driveway already !..:p

I here he's into BRG's now. I think he gave up on LB's, because all the good ones are sitting in garages not being used.

You never know what I might be in to today, however, I have noticed a Laguna Blue vacuum in the market since I reached my goal(s) in ownership percentages. :D

Local in Nashville and new to the Miata scene, this deal looks promising :)

Yes, go now! Laguna Blue & Tans are the most highly sought after Miata in the entire 25+ year production run of Miatas. And that's not hyperbole, at all.:thumbs:

mx52go

9th February 2016, 17:38

^^ well, maybe only a little hyperbole  ....

everyone knows that Sunburst, '93LE and BRG are slightly more desirable... following the rare '97 STO of course :D .

Seriously, JesseD, that car is a real value and under priced "if" all checks out.

Should you be even slightly considering, you need to go look at it now!

Please report back, some of us want more details.

I'd say it is a $5500 - $6K Miata.

walk

9th February 2016, 18:01

$4k is a steal. I wouldn't sell mine for less than $5k with the HT, or 4k without. it has 130k miles..

I'd say they're priceless, but that's just me spitballin'. :p

Sunburst? 1,519 made. And really, who buys a yellow car?
(er, I own one of a different manufacturer, but shhhh, don't tell anyone)

'93 LE? 1,505 made. And have you tried to maintain black paint?

BRG? Holy cow, they made 3,997 of them. And you know what Kermit The Frog sings? "Its not easy being green."

STO? 1,500 of them made. And "STO" is WAY too close to "STFU" so I'd be nervous about that when it comes time for resale.

Just 463 Laguna Blue & Tans, and maybe half of those came with a HT.

Wow I have 3 off Rod Knocks list does that mean i need help? If I had all 5 I think the family would have me committed.

Ad is down - anyone here get it? I know where I'd put my money ...

And if that wager proves right, well, you were warned! ;)

I tried to communicate with the seller, seams they were not interested in working with a long distance buyer.

With a thick Southern drawl, you should've said that you were calling from Boone, NC...

I can see why, being 4,822 feet above sea level (at the road, not their summer cabin/trailer) in the Tennessee mountains (north and west of the Blue Ridge Parkway area), you would have needed a 4WD vehicle to get to the car, or wait till spring

Dunno, that tread pattern in the snow almost looks like tracked treads or sand paddles, couldn't have been a Miata ;)236616

autox25

13th February 2016, 10:08

Who in their right mind drives a Miata in the snow. Asking to turn the car into a rust bucket or a Copart, IAA special in short order. I think this car may be sold.

Rod Knock

13th February 2016, 14:29

Bill is awfully quiet. And he does own a half-track.

KeeperNC

13th February 2016, 18:46

No I'm not, and no I don't! (Oh, you meant the Bill with the Laguna fetish. :p)

Not a half track per se.

It is tough getting it up to 88 MPH though

Maybe he has one of those half-track Muranos that were tested up in Lake Geneva prior to the Chicago Auto Show. You too can now have the perfect daily for those winter months. next time some kid asks if a Miata is any good in the snow point him towards one of these.

I drove a Ford F350 with the track conversion straight up the ski slope at Stratton in VT about 10 years ago. Properly equipped, those things can go anywhere.

All they did was bolt those on from this company
